Delhi vs Assam: Ton for Rishabh
What a knock this has been from the young wicketkeeper-batsman! He brings up his ton off 100 balls with six sixes in it. He is in no mood to stop as he goes for another maximum immediately after reaching his hundred. Ominous signs for Assam very early in the day.

Railways vs Punjab: Gurkeerat falls
Early blow for Punjab as well! It took Railways just seven balls in the morning to strike as the overnight half-centurion Gurkeerat Singh Mann falls for 66. Railways now have given themselves a good chance to fetch a first-innings lead.

Mumbai vs Tamil Nadu: Early wicket
TN are in deep trouble now as they lose an early wicket to Dhawal Kulkarni. Kousik J is the man dismissed as he is caught by Surya Kumar Yadav for 5. The lead is just 68. They need to touch three figures at least to make a match out of this.Build up:
Interestingly, a couple of games could get over today on day 3 of the first round in the 83rd edition of the Ranji Trophy. And one of those games is the high-profile clash between TN and Mumbai which swung both ways on the second day. After conceding a lead of 89 runs in the first innings, the TN openers put up an excellent stand to revive their side’s hopes before faltering in the final session. They have only four wickets in hand and lead by 61 runs. All eyes will be on the track in Lahli today.

The debutants Chhattisgarh have been a roll as well after fetching a 137-run lead in the first innings. If they can manage to bowl out Tripura for a paltry score again, they will be making history! Despite losing time on the first day due to rain, Delhi managed to seize the initiative against Assam and will be looking for some quick runs today.

Punjab put up a mini fightback in the end after losing the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Manan Vohra and Mandeep Singh cheaply in their reply against Railways. Will Suresh Raina come out to bat today to rescue his side who are struggling against Madhya Pradesh? And hopefully, rain stays away in Kalyani so that the action resumes between Kerala and J & K. The same goes in Bhubaneshwar as well where we had an intriguing first day’s play with Himachal Pradesh scoring 318 for 7 against Andhra Pradesh. Plenty to look forward to on day 3.
