TMZ reports Kylie got the urge to add some new meaning to an old tattoo on Saturday, July 23, 2016 so she got celebrity tattoo artist Rafael Valdez to add
the word ‘before’ in front of the ‘sanity’ tattoo Kylie got last year.
Kylie Jenner appears on the cover of Allure’s August issue, and the accompanying story certainly is a family matter. Kylie, who was interviewed by her big
sister Kim Kardashian for the magazine, dished on everything from her strategy as one of the many celebrities on Snapchat to all that drama surrounding
her plump lips. Plus, she explained the reasoning behind all those beauty mistakes that have caused her look to change so much over the years. Check out
her quotes below, then read her full cover story with Allure.
On her lips: “I definitely made my lips a little too big at one point. . . . I got excited and felt like I needed to do a lot. And then you guys were like, ‘Kylie, you
need to chill.’ And then I had to go back and have it fixed, and it was a crazy process. Thank God I didn’t end up on Botched.”
On her presence in the spotlight: “I usually don’t show my true personality to the world, because when you open yourself up so much, there’s more room for
people to say things about you.”
On her fame: “I know I don’t want to be famous forever. There’s gonna be a time where I feel comfortable, I’m at a good place in my life, and I just stop. I
can’t remember what it’s like not to be famous. So I’m able to appreciate what true happiness is all about. A new car, that’s not real happiness. That lasts a
month. That’s short-term happiness.”
On making beauty mistakes: “People’s eyes have been on us for so long that I could definitely name a lot of mistakes we’ve all made in the past.”
On how she does Snapchat: “I put a lot of thought into it, and I always like to give people what they want to see. It’s not that I necessarily [want] to post all
of my cars today. It’s that I know people want to see that and live their life through ours.”
On her earliest memory: “I was four. We were in the old El Dorado house, and Khloé was like, ‘It’s your birthday today! Hold up your fingers and tell me how
many you are.’ And being grounded because I wouldn’t eat my salad.”
On what you’ll find in her fridge: “A lot of pressed juices, eggs, milk. And I always keep a block of medium cheddar at all times.”
On her first kiss: “We were in the front yard of my best friend Zoe’s house, just me, Zoe, and Matt. He was one of the hot ones in fourth grade, and yeah, I
definitely had a crush on him. Zoe was like, ‘Just do it!’ It was an innocent peck. Right on the lips. And it was funny and awkward, probably like every other
first kiss.”
