Jacqueline Fernandez nailed the desi look in this Banarasi woven sari

At most times, you will see this Sri Lankan beauty in Western-wear but there’s one thing about Jacqueline Fernandez – she does her outfits justice, well mostly. The Flying Jatt actress is an inspiration when it comes to trying out new fashion trends and although she is rarely spotted in Indian wear, she still tries to go the extra mile. Remember the time when she paired her batik print sari by Sri Lankan designer Nithya Lamahewa with an unusual numbered blouse? She looked cheery and really lovely. Don’t you think?

Well, just a couple of weeks back, we spotted the actress in a Ridhi Mehra outfit for the latest round of promotions of her upcoming movie and she aced that look too. Fernandez finished the look with partially pinned back hair and traditional earrings. The outfit was so cool and breezy that it instantly got us hooked. But nothing can beat she wore on August 31 for a special episode on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Going the regional and traditional way, the actress was spotted in a pink and gold Banarasi woven sari by Jade. She finished the look with gold jewellery from Amrapali and a ring from Jaipur Gems. We think celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani dressed her up really well. But that’s not the only thing we noticed. Her hair was impressively tied in a bun wrapped with mogra garland by hairstylist Priyanka Borkar and her make-up was spot on too with soft lips and smoky eyes. Of course, what else can you expect when celebrity make-up artist Mickey Contractor is at work!
