It is definitely going to be a dream party, almost like a fairy tale. After all, the venue which has been chosen to host the after-wedding party of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, has a rich history of being one of the most imposing structures with splendid imperial over bearings.
The newlyweds will travel to the Pataudi Palace to be part of the family dinner.
“It looks amazingly beautiful! I have never seen an aerial view of the Pataudi Palace before,” exclaims Soha Ali Khan, as she sees the final cut of her new TV show The Great Indian Home Makeover that features the Ibrahim Kothi as she loves calling it on one of the episodes of the show.
The actress allowed the crew of her show inside the palace which belongs to Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan to do a makeover of one of the rooms. The preview of the episode which was shown to the select few media, had them having a visual tour of the Pataudi Palace.
As per Saif-Soha’s mother Sharmila Tagore, the palace has six huge rooms with high ceilings and also a huge courtyard where the family gathers and sits at various occasions.
The building was designed in the style of the colonial mansions of Imperial Delhi by Robert Tor Russell, assisted by the Austrian architect Karl Molt von Heinz, under the request of the 8th Nawab of Pataudi, Iftikhar Ali Khan.
