Officials have identified a 15-year-old girl who was killed in a crash in Weymouth that left three of her fellow classmates injured.
Police say an SUV carrying 15-year-old Kate McCarthy, of Weymouth, and three other teenagers veered off the road late Saturday night.
Police say the SUV crashed into a telephone pole, parked cars and a nearby tree.
McCarthy was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
The three other teens were also injured and taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.
