Almost a year after Hrithik Roshan began work on his periodic drama ‘Mohenjo Daro’, the actor finally launched the film’s first motion poster. Sadly to the fan’s dismay, the motion poster didn’t reveal any of the lead characters, but just gave a glimpse of the film’s title.

“Even before the British Raj, Mughals, Christ, Alexander, Buddha and India as we know it, there was Mohenjo Daro”, says the motion poster.

The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilization that dates back to 2600 BC. Although the sets were well guarded, a few images made their way online and show Hrithik wrestling with a crocodile while ferrying on a boat.

The film that will see Hrithik Roshan being paired opposite Pooja Hegde for the first time, is slated for a August 12 release. The film will clash with Akshay Kumar’s war drama ‘Rustom’ at the box office.
