Your guide to please your boss

95
We all secretly wish to be our boss's favourite. It is difficult to not give in to this silent craving because being your boss's favourite obivously comes with its own perks. Here are ways you can do that: 1. Meet, greet and smile
Begin with the exceptionally fundamental yet important manner. Welcome your supervisor at whatever point you see them with a comforting smile. This would convey your feelings of regard in the correct way. 2. Leaving before your boss? Not a good idea! Pleasing your boss is no cakewalk and that too when they're not easy to win over. One thing you would not want to do if you're on a 'please your boss' mission is leaving office before your boss does. It conveys your disinterest in work and may make him question your commitment.
 3. Too many questions?
Asking questions is not a bad thing as long as the questions are not dumb and stupid. Ask intelligent and relevant questions while in a meeting or in a discussion to show your interest and involvement. This would definitely catch your boss's attention in a good manner.
4. Show interest in your boss's interests
Have no interest in the game of tennis? Doesn't matter. Show some interest and do your homework just because it's your boss's favorite. The act of pleasing your boss comes with a little preaching and faking. Follow this golden rule and be sure to earn some brownie points.
5. Meet and beat the deadlines
It is the most important point in 'your guide to please your boss'! If not a day early, make sure you deliver your work on the deadline day at least. It would make your boss trust you and definitely communicate your commitment towards work.
6. Problems without solutions? NO!
Who likes a bad news without some good news and problems without a solution? Quoting problems without a solution is the most annoying thing you can do as an employee. Don't have an answer, then don't point out issues. It's as easy as that.
7. Volunteer
Volunteering for work is a bang-on to win over your boss's heart. Nothing says 'I am a work enthusiast' more than volunteering for work and taking off the work load from your boss's plate. Believe me, they won't forget you for the longest time.
