Newly-elected Governor Sindh Saeed uz Zaman Siddiqui is likely to be discharged from hospital in afternoon today (Monday) due to improvement in health.
Spokesman to Governor House said Saeed uz Zaman Siddiqui, 79, was admitted to a private hospital owing to severe chest infection where doctors held medical check-up and declared him out of danger.
However, final decision to discharge the minister from hospital would be taken after another medical examination in afternoon.
Justice (Retd) Saeed uz Zaman Siddiqui served as Chief Justice of Pakistan from July, 1, 1999 to January 26, 2000. He was appointed as Governor Sindh on November 9, 2016.
