Google launches testing tool to measure website speed

Google has launched a tool which can calculate the speed of  a particular website both on desktop as well as mobile. The tool is equipped to provide a detailed test report upon user’s request, that includes suggestions on areas the website needs to work on.

The new website testing tool  is easy to use. The user is simply required to type in the website address, and the tool will score the respective site. It can also offer a detailed report that makes suggestions on things that are required to be fixed.

Google already offers a number of testing tools for websites, including PageSpeed Tools, PageSpeed Insights, and its Mobile-Friendly Test, focused on the site’s design. However, most of these earlier tools are aimed at developers, site designers and other more technical users. This tool, on the contrary, can simply be accessed by anybody for that matter.
