Ganga is furious as Centre is selling gangajal at Rs 80: Lalu Yadav


RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav is famous for his words. He hit out at the Centre today saying RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was visiting flood affected areas near Patna today attacked attacked the Central government saying that river Ganga is furious because Union government is selling gangajal in post offices.
“BJP has started politics with selling Ganga Jal at Rs 80 per bottle. Ganga is angry and therefore she thought instead to herself reach the doorsteps of the people,” he said.
Former chief minister of Bihar yesteday made a bizzare statement telling the flod victims that they should feel fortunate to welcome river Ganga at their doorstep.”People here are fortunate to find Ganga water in their home. Many a times it does not happen”, Lalu had said.
Lalu has been visiting flood-affected areas in and around Patna for past one week assuring people of state government’s assistance. He said that it was the the water released by the Madhya Pradesh government that had created havoc in Bihar. Slamming the Madhya Pradesh government Lalu said that they didn’t inform Bihar before releasing water from the Ban Sagar dam.
As many as 127 people have lost their lives across Bihar and more than 25 lakh people have been displaced.
