Former petroleum minister Dr Asim could not be indicted in terror case

Dr Asim Hussain could not be indicted on charges of abetting terrorists. Dr Asim Hussain was presented before the Accountability Court in Karachi in the terror facilitation case on Monday, however, he could not be indicted by the court.
The court adjourned the hearing till May 6 due to non-presence of the prosecutor.
Dr Asim requested the court to allow him to visit the embassy of UAE in connection with preparation of certain documents.
The court issued notice to the NAB on this count.
Earlier, talking to media men outside the court, Dr Asim said that he prayed for Pakistan despite being in jail.
