Produced by Wave Cinemas, the film has Randeep essaying the role of a military commander of the 36th Sikhs. Regarded to be one of the biggest examples of valour in the history of Indian army, the attack by the Afghani Orakzai tribe on 21 Sikhs at a British Indian contingent and their courage to fight against an army of 10000 men is remembered till today. The film revolves on the same subject and will go on floor soon.
It’s said the actor has already started undertaking his training for the role. Apart from beefing up his body, Randeep will also be learning sword fighting and firing with vintage guns.
Interestingly, Ajay Devgn too is making a film on the same subject and had released the poster of Sons Of Sardar (based on battle of Sargarhi) a few days ago.
