A large house fire at Kedron on Brisbane’s northside has been brought under control. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the Gorman Street address in Kedron about 3:30pm where they found the property well alight.

All occupants were accounted for and no-one was injured.

The fire, which has produced a lot of smoke in the area, was contained about 4:20pm.

It was the third major house fire in south-east Queensland today.

This morning seven Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews were called to a separate house fire Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast.

Prior to that five QFES crews were called to another house fire at Rochedale South in Logan, south of Brisbane.
