One person has been killed in a house fire in the eastern Perth suburb of Martin, police have confirmed. While the body has not been formally identified, police believe it is that of a woman in her 30s.
Police said there were four people inside the house at the time of the blaze.
Another woman and her two daughters, aged 10 and 12, managed to escape without injury.
The fire started in the weatherboard and iron home on Mills Road about 6:30am.
It is understood a neighbour called triple-0.
The fire was quickly extinguished.
The police arson squad said the blaze was not suspicious.
