Former England batsman James Taylor, who had to cut short his international career due to a serious heart condition, was released from hospital after two weeks.
The 26-year-old, who played seven Tests and 27 ODIs for England, was diagnosed with Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Arrhythmia, a condition that stops the right side of the heart pumping blood properly and may lead to sudden death, Sport24 reported.
Taylor posted a photograph of himself on Twitter while saying that ,” Well, that has been one hell of an experience! What a beautiful day.”
Earlier this year, he had played for England during their four-match Test series in South Africa, which the visitors went on to win by 2-1. The unfortunate news triggered an outpouring of support from international cricketers for the devastated batsman.
