Emergency crews are searching for 2 fisherman who were swept away by a wave in Lake Michigan.  It happened shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Authorities say 3 fisherman were on the dock when they were swept into the water.

One was recovered by a U.S. Coast Guard boat and was transported to a local hospital.

Crews were searching for the other two individuals using a rescue boat, a helicopter and a local marine units.

The Sheboygan County dive team was called in but was unable to continue it’s dive operation because of the treacherous water conditions.

Rescue efforts are expected to continue this morning.

According to the coast guard, there were 10 reports Sunday afternoon of people in distress in the water across Lake Michigan
