Easy remedies for dark circles


Tired of dark circles and want to get rid of them. Avoid chemically induced serums and gels, by using these interesting remedies, which can be prepared easily at home, to reduce dark circles naturally. Just be careful and avoid getting them into the eyes when applying it.

Rose water –Soak two cotton balls in rose water and place them over the eyelids. Keep them for 10 minutes and then remove them.

Cucumber –It is a known fact that cucumber has skin-lightening properties and acts as a great astringent. Take a fresh green cucumber and cut it into thick slices. Chill them in the refrigerator. After half an hour, take them out and put them over closed eyes for 10 – 15 minutes. Wash off with normal water.

Tomato –Tomato too acts as a great skin lightening agent. Take one teaspoon of fresh tomato juice mix it with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Gently apply the mixture around your eyes on the dark circles. After keeping it for around 10 minutes, wash it off with cold water.

 Potato slices –Peel and cut potato into thin slices. Immediately put them over closed eyes for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with normal water. Almond oil – Before going to bed every night, gently massage almond oil into the skin around your eyes.
 Mint –Crush six to seven fresh mint leaves and apply them around the eye. Keep it for around 10 – 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.
