A woman was rushed to hospital after being found with multiple stab wounds in Toronto’s downtown core Friday morning. Toronto police responded to reports of an incident near 31 Princess Street, which is located south of Front Street East and east of Lower Sherbourne Street, at around 5:30 a.m.
Police say a 28-year-old woman was found losing consciousness after a possible robbery. She was taken to hospital to be treated for stab wounds sustained to her leg and neck, according to police.
The suspect then fled the area in a yellow vehicle.
The victim, who police say is from the area, was transported to hospital in serious condition, according to Toronto paramedics.
