Airlines tweeted saying their flight schedules may be affected.Flight operations were affected at the Delhi and Lucknow airports on Wednesday morning as well. 18 flights and 50 trains were delayed or rescheduled, while 13 flights were diverted from Delhi’s IGI airport.
According to the MET department, temperatures are likely to decrease further in the coming days and fog will intensify as well. Pollution levels are also expected to spike.
