And it may well be that Delta Goodrem is wanting to go out on a high note, hinting she won’t be returning to the singing contest next season.
The 31-year-old, whose new album Wings of The Wild has gone to the top of the ARIA charts, appears to be putting the focus back onto her music and is looking to go wherever it takes her.Speaking with TV Week magazine, Delta admitted she was proud of the talent she had nurtured on the show, but added coyly: ‘We’re artists ourselves, so you never know what comes up’.
In the interview, published on Monday, the songstress said she couldn’t commit to returning for the next season of the show.The focus on her music again comes after the former Neighbours actress and Born To Try singer was apparently given a reality check on her star status.
According to last week’s Woman’s Day magazine, the glamazon wanted to hit the road on tour at big venues but was instructed to re-think the idea.‘She wanted to do an arena tour, but we had to break it to her that we didn’t think she’d sell out an arena.
