Tell us about your Hollywood experience…
I find my entry into Hollywood as a pathbreaking move in my career. Working with a new team in a new environment has been totally exciting. I cannot divulge much about it, as we are looking forward to the film’s release in January.
When can we see you in Malayalam cinema?
Malayalam movies are often rich in quality. It is important to back films with good content, which people can identify with. If an exciting script in Malayalam comes by, I would definitely take it. I would really like to work in Mollywood.
Who is your favourite actor in Malayalam?
I don’t want to handpick one particular actor. However, I like most of the good actors here in M-town, as they have amazing talent. There is no doubt that Malayalam films are often an inspiration for Bollywood cinema.
What do you think about Kerala?
It is lovely to be back in Kochi. I have been here a lot of times since I started working- for shows, modelling assignements, movie and ad shoots. My visits to Kerala during my vacations with my family have given me many beautiful childhood memories.
Also, the food here is outstanding, and I absolutely love it. As soon as I landed here, I made sure I had some of my favourite Kerala dishes. Out of all, I really relish puttu.
I have found that Malayalis are very loving and positive and they always have beautiful smiles on their faces. Every time I come here, I feel so much love and warmth.
How has social media helped you as a star?
It has surely given me an amazing platform to interact with fans and get to know what they expect from me as an actress. I always give importance to the opinion of the audience and try to bring out my best on-screen.
