Cricketer Dwayne Bravo to make Bollywood singing debut


Mirror (March 28) was the first to report that fifteen years after his surprise hit, ‘Tum Bin’, Anubhav Sinha is taking the franchise forward with
Aditya Seal, Aashim Gulati and Neha Sharma in the lead. Now, we hear that the filmmaker who is jointly producing the film with Bhushan
Kumar has roped in West Indies cricketer and ‘Champion’ singer Dwayne Bravo to sing a fast-paced number, titled ‘Jager Bomb’, for the film.
“It will be incorporated in the story.We wanted an entertaining performer to sing and feature in the song so when I ran into Dwayne’s manager,
Shehan Raj, we came up with the idea and set the ball rolling,” confirms Anubhav, adding that the song has been composed by Ankit Tiwari
who will also be singing alongside Dwayne, and singer Harshi Mad.
Dancers are being flown in from Romania for the song, which will either be shot in a club or a recreated club in a studio. Dwayne will learn a
few Hindi lines for the song.
Anubhav’s last directorial outing was ‘Ra.One’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan for which he had roped in American
singer-rapper-songwriter Akon to sing ‘Chammak Challo’.
