Police are looking for two suspects after a 21-year-old man was beaten with a stick and robbed while walking in Clayton Park Sunday afternoon. Halifax Regional Police say the victim was walking in the 200 block of Lacewood Drive around 1 p.m. when two men assaulted him and took his cash, then fled on foot.

Police say the victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

The victim described one of the suspects a white man in his early 20s, wearing a blue hoodie, black shorts and a ball cap at the time of the incident.

The second suspect is described as a five-foot-eight white man in his early 50s with short cropped hair. He was wearing blue shorts, a black t-shirt, short cropped hair and glasses.

Police are investigating whether the suspects are known to the victim.
