Police are now looking for a female suspect in connection with a possible incident of child luring that took place in the northwest Calgary neighbourhood of Silver Springs.
At about 4:15 p.m. on May 12, police were called to the Silver Springs Elementary School after a boy told his mother that an unknown woman had approached him and attempted to force him inside her car.
The boy told police that about an hour prior to the request for police assistance, a woman got out of a parked vehicle and walked towards him, informing him that she was there to pick him up.
The child refused her request, at which point the woman reportedly grabbed his arm.
The victim broke free and ran back into the school where he contacted his mother.
The suspect is described as:
- Mid 30s
- Between 5’7” and 5’9”
- Reddish hair with brown roots
- Medium build
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a red, four door sedan.
