A teenage boy is in a serious condition after crashing his trail bike during a police pursuit in western Sydney. Police said officers attempted to stop a trail bike on Leabons Lane at Seven Hills about 4:30pm when the rider crashed into a sedan.
The rider, a 15-year-old boy, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead with serious injuries.
The driver of the sedan was not injured but was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police said Leabons Lane was closed as the incident was investigated.
