Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday said Sindh offers vast opportunities to Chinese investors which will create a win-win situation for all.

He expressed these views while addressing a reception to mark the 67th anniversary of the Founding of the People Republic of China.

The reception was hosted by Consul General of PRC Wang Yu and attended by Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani, Advisor Senator Saeed Ghani members of the diplomatic corps prominent politicians, businessmen and elite of the city.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said that he sincerely offers Chinese friends to exploit and make investment in green energy including wind and solar mineral and coastal development power plants besides road construction projects.

He specially offered development of Keti Bandar Port.

The Chief Minister said that the solid foundation ofPakistan China friendship was laid by founding Chairman of PPP andformer prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Later Benazir Bhutto andAsif Ali Zardari made continued efforts for deepening these ties.

Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan while congratulating Chinese leadership and people on 67th Founding Day of PRC said that since establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries our friendship continues to strengthen with the passage of time.

Our friendship is deeper than occasion and higher thanmountains the Governor remarked.

Pakistan and China the Governor said not only good neighbours and good friends but both sides always supported each other policies on international forums.

In this regard Dr. Ishratul Ebad said that Pakistan has always supported One China Policy.

Highlighting the importance of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) the Governor said that it is game changer and not only Pakistan but the regional countries and beyond will get enormous benefits from it.

Some countries do not like CPEC however it is our unwavering resolve that we would be successful in our endeavors, he added.

The Consul General of Public Republic of China in Karachi Wang Yu while welcoming the guests said that over decades China has gone through great transformation that brought enormous improvement.

It was the hard work of Chinese leadership and Chinese people that we are the second largest economy in the world our GDP is over 6 per cent he said adding that it was possible because of economic reforms introduced across the board.

Terming China Pakistan as Iron brother he said that relationship between both countries withstood with test of time.

In this regards he referred to frequent visits of top leadership of the two countries that helped in deepening our ties.

Highlighting the importance of CPEC Wang Yu said that it would not only win win situation for both but also provide enormous job opportunities.

He said that he has just assumed his new responsibility in Karachi however during last few days he had developed good rapport with the people and assured to continue bilateral communications.
