Thunder Bay police say a man who was wanted in connection with an alleged serious assault on the Fort William First Nation has been arrested. City police said at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, they arrested 41 year-old Mark Boucher outside a home on Cameron Street in Thunder Bay. Boucher had been the subject of a search initiated by the Anishinabek Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police after he was last seen Wednesday entering a wooded area just off Chippewa Road.

In a media release, city police said he was taken into custody without incident for outstanding warrants. The OPP added that he’s being held in custody for a video court appearance.
