When producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Rohit Dhawan called their John Abraham-Varun Dhawan-Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer ‘Dishoom’ an action adventure with a good dose of thrills, we knew the trailer would be a treat for the audience. The plot revolves around India’s top batsman who goes missing in the Middle East and how two cops team up for a 36-hour manhunt. The trailer features exciting chase sequences and the makers have ensured that they have incorporated them appropriately in the storyline. The action scenes have been shot extensively on land, water and mid-air. The chase sequences also involve hot wheels, speedboat and helicopter. Of these, the chopper chase scene, which spans 12 minutes on screen, is among the longest and most complicated sequence ever attempted in a Hindi film. Sources call it one of Bollywood’s most expensive chase sequences, given the movie’s scale. The crew comprised international members as the sequence, which featured trained fighters, was shot in Morocco. Moreover, multiple choppers were used to capture John and Varun’s stunts on the helicopter. Of course, the makers ensured that they had taken precautionary measures for everyone’s safety.
