An assistant coach of the University of Calgary Junior Dinos club program has been charged with sexual exploitation of a young person. A complaint was made to police July 1 and an investigation launched.
The 25-year-old woman was arrested Monday and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a young person.
She appeared in court Tuesday and was released under a number of conditions.
They include no contact with anyone under age 18 unless in the presence of another adult who is at least 21, and not being employed or doing volunteer service that would put her in a position of authority or trust of anyone under 18.
She is scheduled to appear in a Calgary courtroom Thursday. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7267, Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
