Halifax police have reopened Barrington Street under the MacKay Bridge in both directions after an early morning crash involving a motorcycle. Police said the driver of the motorcycle has serious, but non-life threatening injuries. No details about what led to the crash have been released by police.

Police closed Barrington Street from the MacKay Bridge ramps to Africville Road. They also had officers on scene restricting traffic from heading from the nearby Windsor Street Exchange to the bridge.
