The Pegasus 3 has a slightly different design when compared to the newly announced Zenfone 3 but does have a metal build. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720) display and is powered by unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It will be coming in two variants with 2GB and 3GB of RAM. The 2GB variant will include 16GB of storage while the 3GB RAM variant comes with 32GB of storage. Both of the variants will offer an option to further expand the storage with a microSD card.
The camera department includes a 13MP rear snapper with an LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The handset supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with VoLTE. The battery is rated at 4,100mAh battery that is said to last more than a day. It will come pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Asus’ Zen UI skinning. The 16GB variant is priced at CNY 1,300 (Rs 13,200 approx) and CNY 1,500 (Rs 15,000 approx) with no official confirmation if it will head to India.
Asus is expected to announce the Zenfone 3 series in India by late June and early July. The Zenfone 3 series was announced just a month back at Computex 2016 which includes three models, the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the Zenfone 3 Ultra.
