The Aapna Punjab Party (APP) today announced an electoral alliance with the National Freedom Party (NFP).
During a press conference here, APP president Sucha Singh Chhotepur said his party would tie up with all like-minded people.
NFP president Amlan Biswas, who was earlier associated with the Vivekananda Foundation, said his party was launched recently. He said they would extend support to APP in the Punjab elections.
Earlier, Chhotepur announced the incharges of various party wings: Parminder Kaur (women’s wing), Balwant Singh Bath (legal wing), Amandeep Singh Boparai (intellectual wing), Iqbal Gajjan (cultural wing) and Col Jasjit Singh Gill (media wing). RR Bhardwaj has been appointed chairman of the five-member manifesto committee. The party also named nine spokespersons, including Hardeep Singh Kingra, Jasveer Singh Dhaliwal and RR Bhardwaj.
