Buzz is, Amy Jackson wanted nothing to do with the comedy roast show Comedy Nights Bachao, fronted by Krushna Abhishek. “It’s true”, admits her Freaky Ali director Sohail Khan, adding, “Wonderful girl that Amy is, she does have a problem with the kind of humour Krushna Abhishek subjects his guests to, on Comedy Night Bachao. Also, her Hindi is not
up to the mark.” While she managed to do just about okay with Krushna’s competition Kapil Sharma, the former was beyond her capacity. Moreover, at the time of CNB, she was shooting in Chennai for Rajinikanth-starrer Robot 2.0. “We exempted her from the ordeal of being on CNB,” laughs Sohail. He adds, “Actually, I was the first to agree to be the guest
on the show. My association with Krushna goes back several years. I couldn’t say no to him. Once I agreed to be on the show, the floodgates were opened.”
Amy, along with Nawaz, recently had visited BollywoodLife’s office as well where she openly discussed how big a fan she is of her Freaky Ali co-star. She also gave an insight on what her experience was like while working with Nawaz. We also spotted both the stars at Khan residence as they bid farewell to the eco friendly Ganpati that the Khan family had welcomed
at their place for one and half days. We gotta say that Amy is not the only one to have backed out of CNB. A lot of celebs in the recent past have been giving the Colors show a miss and opting for The Kapil Sharma Show instead. They all have stated the issue, i.e. the roasting that Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh conduct on celebs who come others. Looks like it’s not done tastefully, after all.
