Her relationship with her father Alec Baldwin hasn’t always been smooth sailing.
But Ireland Baldwin insisted she doesn’t have daddy issues as she smouldered for a sultry shoot for the new issue of Paper magazine.
‘Eh no. I grew out of them,’ the 20-year-old said when posed the question by the magazine. ‘My dad is a pretty incredible human.’
The pair are on much better terms these days after Alec infamously called Ireland a ‘rude, thoughtless little pig’ in a voicemail back in 2007.
The 58-year-old actor left the message for his daughter, who was 11 at the time, after she failed to pick up one of his scheduled calls in the midst of a custody dispute between himself and Kim Basinger.
In April of last year, Ireland defended her parents after checking into rehab for ’emotional trauma’.
She told her Twitter followers: ‘Both of my parents, step mom, Carmen, and friends…were all there for me at all times. Little do you know… We’ve never left each other’s sides.’
While she has made a name for herself in the modelling world, Ireland revealed during her Paper interview that she is passionate about writing.
‘I read and write. I write scripts and film shorts,’ she said of her hobbies. ‘I get to play with different cameras, which is fun. I play with my dogs for hours. I like to stay outside mostly.’
The star shared her passion for all animals – not just dogs – as she said she regrets some of the clothing she has worn in the past for work that was far from cruelty free.
