It’s supposed to be something of a refined affair.
But American actress Meredith Ostrom wasn’t about to let a ‘garden party’ dress code get in the way of making her own style rules at the Serpentine Summer Garden Party on Wednesday evening.
The 39-year-old looked pretty pleased with herself as she stepped out in the number which had nipples and a rather intimate area emblazoned on the front.
She also carried a colourful handbag on her shoulder and added a pop of colour to her lips with a slick of bright berry lipstick.
Meredith famously starred as something of a party girl in HBO’s Sex And The City, who uttered the words: ‘I’m so bored I could die’ before falling to her death out of a window.
She is currently filming Barcelona Baby! alongside Nick Loeb – the plot is currently unknown, but it is slated for release in 2017.
The star has also appeared in Factory Girl, Love Actually and The Great New Wonderful.
The blonde beauty was in excellent company on the night though, with the likes of Kate Moss, Fearne Cotton, Sienna Miller and Naomi Campbell all in tow.
Actor Jamie Campbell-Bower arrived with his model girlfriend Matilda Lowther.
While singer Tom Jones also looked dapper as he arrived in his suit, while actress Maisie Williams debuted her new dark purple locks.
Television presenter Laura Whitmore looked lovely in a cream patterned dress and heels, while Lady Amelia Windsor chose a navy frock with contrasting coral mules.
Making an entrance at The Serpentine summer party, Kate Moss donned a bold chevron striped maxi dress that certainly got our attention.
The dress may look a little familiar to some, those in particular who are always big fans of Kate Moss’ collections for Topshop. The dress dates back to 2009 where this shorter version was released into stores and inevitably sold out. Having a hand in the design must have enabled Kate to have this maxi version made in the same floral chevron print.
The pretty printed dress has a voluminous skirt which is layered beneath with an orange underskirt that pops next to the zigzag design. Kate has styled it with a chunky embellished belt and blazer that added a formal touch and all in all she looked fabulous, as always.
