Aasiya Andrabi was reacting to the Indian Foreign Secretary,Vikas Swaroop’s statement that Jammu and Kashmir is India’sintegralpart,reported Kashmir Media Service.
Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “This man (Vikas Swaroop) must know that if India is holding Kashmirfrom the past seven decades it is only because of its militaryor with the collaboration of some agents whose only interestis to rule Kashmir.
World knows this reality and the rants and rhetoric won’tchange the fact that Jammu and Kashmir is a disputedterritory.”She said, India must understand that the people ofJammu and Kashmir have never accepted the Indian rule in the pastand they will never do so in future.
“People here have been struggling from the past seven decades and the ongoing resistance movement is an extension of the struggle that will see an end to India’s forcible control over Jammu and Kashmir. We have given many sacrifices and we will continue to do so if required, tosee Kashmir free from India,” she added.
