The police have booked 14-year-old son of Jiwan Singh Fauji, chief of the state AAP ex-servicemen wing, allegedly at the behest of Akali leaders and panchayat of Kotda Kalan village.The juvenile has been booked under Sections 354, 506 and 120-B of the IPC following a complaint by sarpanch Sukhchain Singh along with 50 other complainants. However, police claimed that the accused was above 18 years.Fauji claimed that the accused was living with his relatives Mander village. “I am in Chandigarh for some work but some people are calling me about the case. My elder son, who has been allegedly booked by the police, is living with my sister in Mander since his birth,” he added.Bhikhi SHO Boota Singh said, “The panchayat along with about 50 other complainants have said the accused allegedly used to tease girls in his school as well as his teachers. There is no political pressure on us.”Jeet Singh, headmaster of the school, said, “We use to get complaints about the accused who is a Class 10th student. He used to misbehave with other students and teachers in the school.” On the charges of eve- teasing, he said he would have to look into the matter.Darshan Singh, SAD vice- president, said, “We don’t have any vendetta against anyone but this is serious matter,” he added.
