A crash near Aylesbury, Sask., has claimed the life of a woman, 69, from Carry the Kettle First Nation. It happened northwest of the town on Highway 11 at around 4 p.m. CST Monday.
RCMP said the northbound truck left the roadway, skidded through the centre median and entered back on the northbound shoulder.
Police didn’t say what the truck collided with.
Following the crash, the woman passenger and the driver, a 66-year-old man, were taken to hospital. The woman was later pronounced dead.
Family members have been notified.
There was no information provided by police about the possible cause of the crash. The coroner and Craik RCMP continue to investigate.
