Five people have been injured after being attacked by two dogs at Wentworthville in Sydney’s west. An 81-year-old woman was walking on the footpath on Fulton Avenue at 1pm on Monday when she was attacked by the dogs.
Two men and two women then rushed to the woman’s aid only to also be attacked by the two dogs.
The 81-year-old woman was taken to Westmead Hospital to be treated for cuts to her face and body.
The other four were treated by paramedics at the scene.
NSW Police said they had tracked down the owner of the dogs and the animals have now been seized.
