Two women aged in their 30s, who were seated in the front of a Mercedes Sedan, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two girls aged 10 and 11, also travelling in the Mercedes, were also treated for non-life threatening injuries.The 21-year-old driver of a Holden utility did not require medical assistance.
Victoria Police officer Stuart White said it was lucky everyone survived.
“Considering the type of collision it is and the speed involved I think its fortunate that we’re not dealing with a fatality,” The driver of the allegedly stolen Falcon, a 23-year-old Rochester man, was transported to hospital and remains under police guard. Police are investigating if speed was a contributing factor in the collision.
