Police arrested four teachers of a private school in Sargodha in a child abuse case, where they allegedly assaulted students after calling them to the institute on the pretext of special classes during summer break.

Sources said the parents of seven children reported the abuse, after which raids were being conducted to arrest the head of the school.

A father of an abused student told Online on the condition of anonymity that the police have strictly forbidden them to disclose anything to media or face legal action.

Abdul Hameed, who lives near the school, said contrary to the orders of the government, the institution remains partially open and neither the Education Department nor the district administration has taken cognisance of the incident.

A policemen, on condition of anonymity, told Online that a first-information report has been registered based on the complaints of parents, which has been sealed.
