Vehicle of Customs anti-smuggling cell went off the road in a high-speed chaseclaiming lives of four personnel after falling in a ditch near Bahtar, reported Wednesday. Reportedly, the personnel were chasing smugglers when they met a fatal accident.

Sources privy to the Customs authorities state that Amir was driving the vehicle while constable Shakeel, Ijaz and Jameel were onboard the four-wheel drive.

Meanwhile, hunt is underway with the help of Motorway Police to catch the smugglers, Director General of Pakistan Customs, Imtiaz Ahmed said.
