Four of a family died and seven were injured as the van in which they were travelling collided with a trailer on the Hanumangarh mega highway today.Assistant Police Inspector Subhash Chander of the Pallu Segment said the victims, who were from Kuldiyan village, were going to Pallu to pay obeisance at an ancient temple.As the Bolero collided with the trailer, Skeena (10) died on the spot. About 12 persons were shifted to the nearest Community Health Center in Pallu, but all had to be referred to Bikaner as their condition was not stable. In the evening, BBM Hospital, Bikaner, informed that driver Daya Ram Meghwal, Dariya Singh and his son Prem have succumbed to their injuries.A case has been registered against the driver of the trailer. However, he managed to flee after the mishap. Both the vehicles have been impounded.
