A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted during an audition and Toronto police believe there may be more victims. The 31-year-old woman spoke with her alleged attacker about an upcoming film job. They connected over social media.

They met in person near Islington Avenue and Resources Road on Nov. 27, 2015.

He then sexually assaulted her, police allege.

Eric Dugas, 41, was arrested on April 17, and charged with sexual assault. He will next appear in court on June 10.

Police believe there may be more victims.

Durham police are searching for a suspect after a seven-year-old boy was shot in Oshawa.

The shooting happened on Colborne Street, near Simcoe and Bond streets, around 10:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Police believe the gunman was outside a townhouse and an adult man was in the doorway. The gunman fired twice. One bullet hit the man in the stomach. The other grazed the child.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the upper back leg and buttocks area, police said. He was taken to nearby Lakeridge Health, and is expected to recover.

It’s not known how serious the man’s injuries are. He is not related to the child, police said. Police said the man was known to police but don’t have a suspect description yet.
