Three people were injured in a shooting outside a Bethesda, Maryland, mall Friday morning, police said. The shooter is still at large. Two males and one female were shot in the Westfield Montgomery Mall parking lot around 11:30 a.m., Montgomery County police. All three were taken to area hospitals. There was no immediate word on their conditions.

About twenty minutes later, police responded to a report of a second shooting at a Giant Food supermarket at the Aspen Hill Shopping Center in Silver Spring, about eight miles away. It was unclear if the two incidents were related, and few details were available about the second shooting.
