Three people have been arrested,  including two youths, in the alleged assault of a woman in Orillia. According to Orillia OPP,  a 60-year-old woman was walking in the area of Douglas Street and Mississauga Street on Thursday when she was approached by three males.

Police allege the trio demanded cash from the woman. Investigators say when the woman said she didn’t have any money, one of the males struck her on the head and all three ran away.

An 18-year-old Orillia man faces numerous charges, including robbery with intent. Two youths have also been charged with robbery with intent. All three have been held for a bail hearing.
