The state government on Friday issued orders for transfer/posting of three IAS and 10 PCS officers. Shruti Singh (IAS), Special Secretary, Home, will be the new Managing Director of INFOTECH (relieving Rajkamal Chaudhary of additional charge); Kumar Saurabh Raj (IAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Pathankot, will be ADC, Patiala; Aditya Uppal (IAS), Assistant Commissioner (AC) Under Training Ferozepur, will be AC UT, Sri Muktsar Sahib. Among the PCS officers, Udaideep Singh Sidhu has been appointed Ropar SDM, Tejdeep Singh Saini Baba Bakala SDM, Navreet Kaur Sekhon Chamkaur Sahib SDM, Sonam Chaudhary Lehra SDM and additional charge of the Moonak SDM.

Transfers: Last date extended

Dalit raped in Moga villageA 13-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a youth at Nangal village in Moga district, the police said on Friday. The police have registered a case against Harpreet Singh of the same village under Sections 376 of the IPC and relevant Sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, at the Nihalsinghwala police station. However, the youth is yet to be arrested.
