EMS were called to the scene of a serious collision south of Stavely, on Range Road 272 between Township Roads 140 and 134, at around 12:45 p.m. Sunday.
EMS said an SUV carrying four people, one adult and three children, had been involved in a rollover.
Two of the four people in the accident were taken to hospital.
A young boy was taken to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in stable, non life-threatening condition. He suffered from a number of minor injuries.
A woman, believed to be in her 40’s, was flown by STARS air ambulance to Foothills Hospital suffering from possible internal injury but was considered stable and in non life-threatening condition.
The two remaining children at the scene were assessed by EMS but were determined unharmed.
The relationship between the woman and the three children is unknown.
No word yet on what caused the crash.
