Police are hunting two men believed to have stolen a distinctive Porsche coupe used to promote a charity from a home on Sydney’s North Shore. The coupe was discovered late yesterday in Croydon park, after it was taken from Hunters Hill home between Thursday night and Friday morning.
Owners Alistair and Zeo McKeough were relieved the car was found, particularly because it helps to raise awareness for chronic lung disease charity, the Better Breathing Foundation.
Last night, police shared photos of the car on social media and received a number of calls reporting sightings of it around the city.
“I was fairly hopeful, though, that given it was such a loud-looking car, it would attract attentions,” Ms McKeogh said.
Police are now analysing CCTV footage of the car’s movements to try to identify two men seen inside it.
