Special Investigation Unit of Islamabad Police has arrested two gangsters involved in motorcycle thefts and recovered 16 motorcycles and one rickshaw from their possession.

Following the directions of senior officers, SP Investigation Islamabad Captain (r) Muhammad Ilyas constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP CIA Islamabad which included Muhammad Azam SI and 5 other police officials. The Special Team by showing excellent performance traced out and arrested two accused, who are involved in motorcycle thefts. Sixteen motorcycles stolen from Islamabad were recovered from their possession while one rickshaw stolen from Taxila was also recovered. The recovered motorcycles e.g. 1 Honda-125, 3 CD-70, 5 Hero Honda, 3 Metro, 2 Union Star, 1 Yamaha and 1 Style motorcycle. The arrested accused included Bilal Shah, son of Gul Syed Shah, resident of Ziarat Tanveer Shah, Sangjani Tarnol, presently resident of Mohallah Sadiqabad, Rawalpindi , and Imran Ellahi, son of Peer Noor Ellahi, resident of Peeran The Bunn near Dakly Bosal, Tehsil Taxila, District Rawalpindi.

During initial investigation, accused revealed that they have stolen aforesaid motorcycles from the areas of PS Tarnol, PS Golra Sharif and PS Shams Colony.
